ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES STUDY (ACES)

Come hear Dr. Felitti present the findings of the landmark Kaiser/CDC ACE 25 year study: 

  • Dramatic links were found between Adverse Childhood Experiences and risky behaviors, psychological issues, joblessness, divorce, serious illness and death in adults. 
  • People with 6 or more ACEs died nearly 20 years earlier than those without ACEs.
  • Almost 40% of the Kaiser sample reported two or more ACEs and 12.5% experienced four or more.
